Standard sandwich place. Solid sandwiches. However, I do not do carbs... and this is the ONLY place I have been able to get my entire sub mix up in a bowl with all of the same stuff that I would have on a sandwich, mixed up in a bowl! Low carb option for me, while my spouse can still get a foot long! Also, try their red pepper sauce. Delish!

The ruben sandwich on typical sub sandwich bread left a lot to be desired. The water on the soda machine was out of order. My guest ordered a turkey and bacon sandwich, the employee created a supreme with bacon. When we asked him to change it he just igored her and went to the next customer. The fella ringing us out had to put on gloves and make a new sandwich when the mistake was pointed out. This place was not horrible, but for lunch choices, I can find many places better who care a bit more.

Today I visited Jersey Mike's for the first time in my 35 years and I now how a favorite sub place! The place was clean and the staff was super friendly and personable. I had the turkey and my sister had the Philly cheese steak. Both were fresh and delicious. The regular size of subs are a lot of food and good for the price. Ask them to cut it in half and boom! You've got a meal for tomorrow! There are chips, daily soup, and potato salad. If you're tired of the Subway yoga mat sub game, go try Jersey Mike's. It's worth it.

Not my favorite sandwich shop but a well built sandwich. Still beats Subway! Picture attached.

This place was NOT clean. There were 50+ flies swarming all over and when I asked the gentleman working there to please not allow flies to land on my sandwich; he said there was nothing he could do about it. Very impolite. All their bread and toppings were just setting out uncovered for flies to land on. They need to cover their food and take better precautions to eliminate the vast number of flies. The sandwiches were nothing special, not very good, and over priced. I will never visit this Jersey Mikes Sub shop again. I can't believe it had 4 stars - definitely not a 4 star eating establishment.

These guys are great. The subs come totally stacked with very fresh ingredients. The guy that runs this place really cares a lot about what he gives you and their energy alone gets you excited about your sub! It sounds a bit odd but it's true. The pricing may be a little more than their rivals but when you see your sub, then take a bite, you have no doubt it's worth it!

Having heard nothing but great things about this place, I decided to take me and my friend there for an afternoon meal. He got the italian mike's way and i got the philly, To my suprise they have tons of different sizes and they cut the meats and cheeses infront of you, and even cook up the meat behind the counter on an open grill. It really added a kind of freshness taste to the sandwich rather than it being flash baked or warmed in a mic. I was nothing but satisfied with my sandwich and so was my friend. As mentioned previously it is a little pricey but you get what you paid for, after going here I will NEVER go to subway again. On that note, they do have different sizes like I've stated and if you just want a small sandwich they can cut them small and affordable, but everything was very fresh and full of flavor. I'd recommend this to any sandwich lover, and I def recommend the philly. I will be back here VERY SOON

I just realized that I am starting to look like Joey from Friends with the amount of Sandwich shops I have reviewed....oh well....write about what you love, right? I fell in love with Jersey Mike's back in my good old Providence College days. I was ecstatic to learn that they had expanded to St. Louis just in time for my move back to the Midwest. Since my college days I have discovered Jimmy Johns and I have to say, Jersey Mike's just doesn't have the same amazing bread as a JJ's, but their sandwiches make up for it. I have never been a sub shop (except maybe Al Capone's in Boston) that stuffed their veggie sub with so much stuff. The girl filled it up so much last time she couldn't fit in the sub bag. I mean, who can complain about a 5 dollar sandwich that loaded? The menu is as vast as any sandwich shop and from what I remember of my meat eating days, their turkey was totally delicious...my college roommate (who had a ham addiction I will never understand...) used to rave about their ham too. I can't speak personally, but trust me...this girl knows her ham. Also, hilarious and totally friendly staff. It's kind of hidden right next to a gigantic Walgreens, but I have to say, totally worth checking out if you are in the neighborhood and wanting a sandwich....

What is the proper rating to give a place that excels so wonderfully in one area, but falls short in several others? It's difficult. Jersey Mike's "Big Kahuna" Philly cheesesteak is, hands down, the greasiest, messiest and most freaking delicious cheesesteak I have ever eaten. (Granted, I've never been to Philadelphia.) I could gobble one of these down every day, if possible. Writing about it is making me salivate. Another plus is that they slice their meats and cheeses to order. I'm sure this doesn't actually affect the taste significantly, but it's a nice touch. On the other hand, I haven't had anything else here that has terribly impressed me. My wife got the "Italian" sub and it tasted almost exactly like a sub that you'd expect to get premade from a supermarket: Edible, but very unimpressive. Furthermore, unlike Penn Station or Jimmy John's, they don't offer fries and/or their own brand of chips. Frito-Lay products are what you're going to find as options for a side item. Finally, their prices aren't all that great. This does seem to be the norm at sub shops not called "Subway," though. Is it that much to ask to get two combo meals at a sub shop and walk out paying no more than $15? I guess so. So, although the cheesesteak is phenomenal, the other fare may be sketchy and their prices aren't great. I haven't tried their entire menu, of course, but what I've had from their cold sandwich selection was unimpressive.

GIGANTIC & DELICIOUS For a local sandwich shop, this is literally as good as it gets. I got the chipotle chicken cheese steak sandwich and I will never grab any other fast food sandwich again. I had never eaten here before, and I did it almost as a joke because the exterior looks completely rundown. Don't be misled - it was absolutely fantastic!

So there we were yet again, wanting to order some food for dinner at work but couldn't decide what to get. We checked out google maps to see what was around us and my manager practically squealed with delight when he saw a Jersey Mike's. He loved the place when he went to school in Nashville so the decision was made. I had a hard time choosing between their different chicken cheesesteak sandwiches but finally settled on the chipotle chicken cheesesteak. We ordered online, which gives you the ability to add and remove items from your sandwich. I removed the grilled onions from my sandwich and chose to make it a wrap instead of a sandwich. And let me tell you, I'm so tired of places that don't pay attention to their orders. My sandwich - not wrap as requested, SANDWICH - had onions. And I'm not sure where the "chipotle" in the title comes from because there wasn't any spice to it. Don't get me wrong, it was an alright sandwich. But it wasn't what I expected and wasn't prepared as I requested. And now that I think about it....there was no cheese on something called a cheesesteak. Weird. If I'm going to pay over $7 for a 6" sandwich that doesn't even come with any chips or drink, it needs to be what I actually want. I'll give them another shot but will try something different next time.

First of all, we love Jersey Mike's. We always visit the Chesterfield location but tried this location today out of convenience. Completely disappointed. We visited at 6:30PM so it was empty- the bread was sitting out, uncovered, so it was hard. The hot sub we ordered had less meat than usual. The employees made us feel like we were burdening them- dumb things like I asked for the hot relish then mayo... The employee scraped off all the relish then put mayo on again.. I guess they have a specific order but he was so meticulous about it, made me feel weird. Anyway, I'd go to the Chesterfield location, even if it's inconvenient!! They are so nice at Chesterfield
